Do you like airplanes with original design? Then you shouldn't miss this B727-100 Alaska Totem Pole, which is a faithful replica of the real aircraft that flew for Alaska Airlines between 1975 and 1981.

This aircraft was one of the first to carry the traditional totem pole motif that symbolizes Alaska's cultural heritage and history. The totem pole was designed by artist Byron Birdsall and depicts four animals: an eagle, a bear, a salmon and a wolf. Each animal has its own meaning and represents a quality or value. The eagle represents strength and wisdom, the bear protection and courage, the salmon fertility and abundance, and the wolf loyalty and cooperation. This unique design gave the aircraft personality and elegance, while at the same time expressing respect for Alaska Native people.

The B727-100 Alaska Totem Pole is made of high quality metal and has detailed workmanship on all parts. The scale is 1:500, which means the model is 500 times smaller than the actual aircraft. The model has a length of 7,4 cm, wingspan of 6,6 cm and height of 2,6 cm. The model comes with a stand on which you can easily display your model on a shelf or table. The model also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity which confirms that it is an officially licensed product of Herpa, one of the world's leading model aircraft manufacturers.
