Skunk Works is a Lockheed Martin development program. It is a team that builds spy planes and fighter jets for elite and sometimes secret military projects. Skunk Works pioneered stealth ("stealth") technology and created legendary aircraft such as the world's fastest aircraft, the SR-71 Blackbird, the U-2, the F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor.
