PIPER Cap
In the mid-1930s, Bill Piper brought in Walter Jamouneau, who led the modification of the original Cub to the legendary bright yellow J-3 version. In 1938, the J-3 Cub sold for just over $1,000 and was equipped with a 40 hp (30 kW) engine. During World War II, photographs of wartime commanders scouting the European battlefields in Piper Cubs were frequently published.
The Piper logo is embroidered on the front of the cap and there is Velcro on the back of the cap for adjusting to a suitable size.
